Hi!... Frank Frazetta has been a very very inspiring artist, open new doors in the illustration field... here is a little "game" with his world. of course, the hair and the ground are post work painted; everything else is pure mesh, with some procedurals for the mettallic parts, and a modulated grey for the characters. they are sculpted in zbrush2, then (for the girl) translated in nurbs, and reworked in rhino... I've found, after zbrush, the nurbs to be the perfect tool for reworking organic parts... the goal was for me to get the moving and dynamic look of the frazettian works, where characters are nearly going "out" of the picture...
